Work Schedule: Days

Hours:

7:30am- 3:30pm (flexible to change)

Summary:

Responsible for multi-tasking, handling changing priorities at a high level of important and confidential Catholic Health matters and issues. Coordinates the administrative needs of the System Director of Patient Safety, Director of Infection Control, and Directors of Quality and Patient Safety. Coordinates Peer Review conferences as directed. Works closely with Catholic Health Quality and Patient Safety director(s), peer review committee members and physicians to ensure all potential quality of care issues, adverse events and educational cases are referred to appropriate peer review conference. Works closely with Chairman of site specific Peer Review conferences to ensure well organized, efficiently run conference(s).

Responsibilities:


EDUCATION

  • A.A.S. Degree
  • BS Preferred


EXPERIENCE

  • Previous administrative assistant experience preferred
  • Experience in a health related field preferred


KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Ability to manage administration needs of multiple directors in a fast paced, challenging environment
  • Strong communication skills required to manage assigned tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to confidentially manage sensitive quality related information
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills supporting in team participation and engagement
  • Possess problem solving skills
  • Efficiently and effectively maintain administrative office under varying conditions, despite multiple interruptions and multiple work duties
  • Valid New York State driver's license


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Normal office setting working conditions
  • Travel between facilities is required
