Hours:

8:30-4:30

Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the ongoing analysis of health care information, obtained from a variety of sources, including payer data, and to aid the work of the Clinical Transformation Team and Physician Relations, as needed. It involves development and preparation of information products for internal and external customers. It requires the ability to review and present the health care data. It requires experience with analytical tools (Microstrategy and Excel), knowledge of data analysis methodology, use of presentation software, strong communication skills and a strong commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of customer service. Also assists in scheduling and presenting data to the operations team and provider practices.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Health related field required


EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working with healthcare data (including medical/claims data) preferred
  • Experience working with multi-dimension databases
  • Experience working with Salesforce with priority on recent experience
  • Three (3) years of experience in a Health Care related field strongly preferred


KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Adept in analytical and statistical tools utilizing a variety of databases
  • Strong presentation database analytical skills as well as advanced computer skills
  • Excellence is required in all facets of oral and written communications
  • Provides an offer of data management solutions in support of operational effectiveness, key performance metric and return on investment
  • Ability to analyze large datasets
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Utilization of software to create models, scenarios, and reports
  • Ability to handle confidential information (including PHI) and interact professionally with internal and external clients and vendors
  • Ability to identify trends or data patterns through either regression analysis or graphical techniques such as scatter plots, histograms, bar charts, trend lines, etc.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines, manage variances in schedules and resource
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of statistical methods
  • Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
