Work Schedule: Days with Call Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Hours:

Monday -Friday 0800-1600

Summary:
Works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary Wound team, is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care and treatment. Participates in patient, family teaching and education to clinicians and public. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with health care team members in maintaining standards for professional practice in the clinical setting. Participates in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
EDUCATION

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Maintains a current New York State NP license
• Maintains Adult, Acute Care or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
• Meets credentialing requirements as appropriate through the Medical Staff office
• CPR Certified
• ACLS Certified preferred
• HBO Certified preferred. Must have certificate from Introductory 40 hr HBO course

EXPERIENCE

• Clinical experience in Wound Care preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills
• Computer Literate

• Must be able to work in hectic environment making sound decisions at all times
