Work Schedule: Days with Weekend and Holiday Rotation
Hours: 7am-3pm, variable start/end times (5am-6pm)
Summary:
Under the direction of the Specialty Imaging Manager, performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying Computed Tomography. Specifically oversees technologists and ancillary personnel assigned to CT at all Southtowns sites and is responsible for all technical aspects regarding workflow and the day to day operations of the CT Department. Distributes work assignments and accommodates work requirements in an efficient and effective manner.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- Satisfactory completion of formal training in an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Satisfactory completion of a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology with a focus in Computed Tomography (CT) is preferred
- BLS required at time of acceptance of position
- CT Technologist must be certified as, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT) at time of hire
- Must maintain current licensure as Radiologic Technologist, Diagnostic with Injection by State of New York
EXPERIENCE
- Pre-Hire Experience: Five (5) years experience as a Staff CT Technologist. Experience as a licensed Diagnostic Radiological Technologist required
- Post-Hire Experience: Perform the duties in an acceptable manner within three (3) months
