Hours: 7-3p, 7:30-3:30p, 8-4p, 9-5p, 9:30-5:30p weekend rotation
Summary:
Responsible for all clerical aspects of the LDCT (low dose CAT scan) lung cancer screening program. Functions of this role include, but not limited to, daily dashboard reviews and maintenance, preparing and managing patient letters, responsible for dashboard and ACR registry metrics. Timeliness of conveying patient result and reminder letters. Works as a liaison with the clinical teams to communicate program requirements and regulatory needs. In conjunction with CT Low Dose Program Clerk responsibilities, performs day to day operations of the file room and other file areas and clerical support duties for the department. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Maintains good relations with patients, medical staff, and other departments as well as other hospitals that use services.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- High School or equivalent.
- One (1) year college study in clerical/secretarial sciences preferred.
EXPERIENCE- One (1) year of medical office experience required.
- Medical terminology and accurate typing ability required.
