Work Schedule: Evenings with Weekend and Holiday Rotation
Hours: M-F 5:00PM to 9:00PM Sat & Sun 9:00AM to 5:00PM or 5:00PM to 9:00PM
Summary:
Greets, directs and/or provide assistance to patients, family members and visitors entering the facility in a friendly, courteous & professional manner. Answers telephones, routes calls to appropriate staff, takes accurate phone messages and relays messages to staff. Provides basic clerical duties following established procedures as directed by supervisor.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION - High School diploma or GED preferred
EXPERIENCE - Prior customer service and/or receptionist experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY- Ability to read, write and speak the English language clearly
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public
- Ability to follow written or oral instructions
- Excellent communication skills which may be inclusive of approach, tone of voice, speed of communication, respectfulness and non-verbal communication
- Must have strong telephone skills and etiquette
WORKING CONDITIONS- Office setting
- Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs
- Long periods of sitting, long periods of talking on phone and/or paging
VACCINE REQUIREMENTS
