Summary:
The office coordinator is responsible for ordering supplies, maintaining compliance with all OASAS data system entries, completing all necessary paperwork to ensure compliant billing practices and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients, staff and visitors. Completes any and all pre authorization insurance requirements and documents results.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE- Minimum of 2years' experience in addiction or allied health care setting
- Customer service experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an office setting
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITY- Able to multi task and maintain focus with frequent interruptions
- Consistently demonstrate compliance with all Title 42 and HIPAA confidentiality laws
- Understands and is able to apply corporate compliance standards to any and all billing practices
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Must function as a treatment team member, integrating the Mission, Vision and Values of Catholic Health into all daily activities
- Able to use basic computer programs ( PowerPoint, Excel, Health E Net, EPIC)
- Able to use basic office equipment, fax, copier, printer
