Hours:
As needed for educational and community programming, shifts will vary between 4 to 8 hours based on need; 4p-8p, 8a-4p
Summary:
Responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating formal and informal Women's Service Line (WSL)-related educational activities to meet the needs of a select patient population. Researches, creates and presentation educational programs according to stated WSL goals. Acts as a clinical resource specialist for physicians and professional staff. Actively markets WSL programs to targeted communities and populations. Presents WSL programs to a wider community as requested regarding Women's Health initiatives (may include physicians and residents). Serves as patient recruiter for Catholic Health (CH).
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- Current New York State RN License
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
- MS in nursing or education preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) to five (5) years recent experience in specialty area
- Relevant teaching experience (including both adult and adolescent)
- Experience in program development and implementation/presentations
- Grant experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
- Strong Microsoft Office skill set
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Grants management preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Travel between facilities required
- Occasional weekend and evening assignments
- May be required to transport educational materials
