Work Schedule: Days and Evenings

Hours:

Day shift: 8am-4pm; Evening shift: 4pm-7pm

Summary:

Associate must be knowledgeable in professional nursing principles and practices related to infusion therapy. Demonstrates appropriate judgment to make independent clinical decisions in carrying out the infusion therapy for CH infusion pharmacy services.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, college or university, BSN preferred
• Licensure and current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York
• Current BLS certification within 60 days from date of hire
• PICC Certification preferred
• CRNI within five (5) years preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• One (1) year experience with central catheters and PICC lines

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

• Most possess a valid driver's license and have a car available for work use
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize
• Strong assessment skills required
• Ability to multi task
• Good computer skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• May be exposed to unsanitary conditions in some home settings
• May be exposed to high crime areas within the community, within the county serviced by the agency
• Endures exposure to weather and temperature extremes
