M-F 7a - 3p but this position is a supervisory position that requires after hours, weekend and Holiday responsibility if necessary. Primarily responsibility will be at Mount St. Mary's and the new Lockport facility opening. Could also be assigned to other CHS sites if necessary.

Summary:

The Supervisor, Materials Distribution is responsible for providing the leadership and direction for their assigned Supply Chain locations/departments to accomplish the distribution of all materials throughout Catholic Health (CH) and other required entities. The position is responsible for managing all assigned associates and staffing responsibilities, including hiring, training, evaluating and corrective action requirements. Responsible for participating in the development and adhere to established budgets for labor and other departmental expenses.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION
  • Associates Degree in a supply chain, purchasing or materials management related course of study required
  • Bachelors Degree in a supply chain, purchasing or materials management related course of study required strongly preferred

EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of one (1) - two (2) years Supervisory experience required
  • A minimum of two (2) - four (4) years of relevant Materials Management work experience required, experience in an Inventory Management position a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • Strong knowledge and experience with utilization and of Inventory distribution systems
  • Solid knowledge and experience in managing multiple site, inventory requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge associated with establishment of inventory locations and associated methodology
  • Strong Microsoft Office software application including the utilization of Excel and the creation of Pivot Tables and Graphs
  • Solid problem solving capability
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Solid analytical skills

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Travel required among CH sites
  • Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of both an office and warehouse operations
