The individual in this role provides complex administrative support to the SOCH-MSC Nursing Leadership Team in the med/surg, ED, ICU, Administrative Nursing Supervisors.This position requires an individual who is capable of managing the day-to-day operations of a busy office environment. Duties include interaction with various departments and associates of the hospital as well as outside customers, daily administrative tasks, timely follow-up, scheduling, and maintaining efficient flow of information to ensure effective functioning of patient care services departments. Performs multi-tasking with changing priorities at a high level of important and confidential CH matters and issues.
Candidate is a reflection of the hospital and must conduct themselves appropriately.
Responsibilities:
SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:• A.A.S. Degree required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:• Minimum Three (3) years Administrative Assistant experience in a health care office.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITY:- Typing - 65 wpm / Keyboarding Ability

- Ability to organize/prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Knowledge and proficiency of specific computers and/or software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

- Maintain proficiency in computer applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
