Work Schedule: Days and Evenings with Weekend Rotation
Hours: variable start times between 7am and 10am
Summary:
Collect, process, maintain, store and obtain supplies, instruments and equipment required by Urology and Digestive Health Units. Assists nursing staff, performs essential duties satisfactorily performs other duties as required and assigned. Possesses knowledge and skills to perform the completion of pre-surgical preparations, as directed. Successfully completes urinary catheter orientation program, to perform male Foley catheter insertions, when directed. Follows principles of aseptic technique in cleaning, decontamination, and terminal sterilization of instruments and supplies for sterilization.
This position is eligible to participate in the THRIVE program that provides education and a Workforce Coach to support them through their first year of employment.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- High School diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE- Experience requirements should be the minimum acceptable standard for the position.
