Work Schedule: Evenings, Days, with call, weekend and holiday rotation
Hours: Primary 12p-8p, 1p-9p secondary 7a-3p, 8a-4p, 9a-5p, 10a-6p days and hours to vary on call, weekend and holiday rotation required may rotate to off site locations
Summary:
Performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation. If the Technologist is a NYS licensed Radiological Technologist performs diagnostic medical radiographs and images. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation as appropriate to the ages of the patients served, based on the area of clinical practice. All diagnostic ultrasound positions working at Lockport Memorial Hospital will perform EKG's. Positions may include multisite rotations and require on-call coverage responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION - Graduate of a School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Current NYS Driver's License required for all employees required
- MST 15 must be RDMS Registry EligibleMST-15A must have current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) Certification
- Employees who float to other departments must possess the competencies/certifications and minimum requirements of that job classification
- NYS Licensed Radiological Technologist preferred
- American Registry of Radiological Technologists radiography certification ( ARRT (R) ) preferred
EXPERIENCE - One (1) Year Ultrasound Experience preferred

PHYSICAL EFFORT- Must be able to lift a container from floor level to table/waist height, then return it to the floor with 40 lbs.
- Must be able to lift a container at table/waist level then transfer it three feet to another nearby location at the same level with 75 lbs.
