Summary:
Performs ultrasound and doppler procedures specific to the visualization of the heart, it's structures and corresponding blood flow. Studies may be obtained bedside, during stress testing, or TEE.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- Associates Degree in Allied Health field, as determined appropriate by the Director of the department.
- Certified by the ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or by CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer required
EXPERIENCE- Clinical exposure/experience in an echocardiography certification program required
- Three (3) years' experience including TEE, stress echo, and pediatrics preferred
