Integration Developer LOCATIONS: 144 Genesee Street, 4th Floor, Buffalo, New York 14203
SALARY: $129,418/year POSITION DESCRIPTION: Providing integration support between the main Hospital Information System(s) (HIS) and its associated clinical and financial systems such as CHS Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy, etc. Designing and implementing model interfaces using vendor technical specifications; Developing custom interfaces and modifying model interfaces to provide technical integrated solutions for the Catholic Health System's business needs, best practices, and regulatory compliance; Maintaining accurate, complete integration documentation for data flows, connectivity specifications, routing, filtering, data manipulation, problem resolution, root cause analysis, and change control to ensure that programs function normally; Communicating with vendors, project managers, Catholic Health System business associates, and other members of the integration team to create optimum software; Mentoring subordinate staff to ensure standards are being following, technical skills are being developed, and their professional goals are achieved; Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to set up interfaces and data extracts with Hospital EMR and ancillary systems, responsible for end-to-end delivery of the setup from requirements gathering to development and testing; Testing end-to-end application after it is developed and set up error management strategies for error queues; Providing dashboard and reports to management by integrating data from multiple sources for identifying gaps; Creating files using advanced custom SQL to satisfy file extracts requirements for ancillary systems; and Working with Business and Project teams to create new agile methodologies for existing processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Management Information System, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study. Two (2) years related experience as an ETL Analyst, Systems Engineer, Integration Developer or related occupation. Experience is required and must include: 2 years' experience using an integration engine supporting a multi-facility healthcare production (live) environment; Technical knowledge of multiple EAI products such as TIBCO, Siemens OPENLink, eGate, Cloverleaf, SSIS, Oracle service bus etc. across different verticals including Healthcare, Insurance, and Supply chain industries; Data formatting technologies (HL7, EDI, X12, XML), data transport technologies (Real-time APIs, Webservices, TCP/IP, SOAP, REST, ODBC), & database technologies (Oracle, Microsoft SQL server, MySQL); Software development building real-time APIs across multiple organizations supporting web-based, mobile & stand-alone applications; DB management skills (ETL, Business process management tools, Business process visibility tools) for building, arranging & retrieval of data; Six sigma methodologies as part of project management strategies. *The employer will accept a Bachelor's degree and 5 years' of experience in lieu of a Master's degree and 2 years' experience.
