Work Schedule: Days with Weekend and Holiday Rotation
Hours: Days with weekend and Holiday rotation, 7am-3p, 7:30a-3:30pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm
Summary:
Assists in the performance of a variety non-invasive cardiac testing including Stress testing, Tilt Table testing, the application and scanning of Holter monitors, and the application of Event Recorders. Maintains established departmental policy and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Maintains confidentiality of all hospital/staff information. *Trainee position will be paid at grade MST-6. After one year of experience, job classification will change to Special Cardiology Technician at higher pay grade.
Mount St. Mary's Hospital consists of multiple locations and associate may be assigned as needed
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- High School or equivalent required
- Associate's Degree preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of cardiac diagnostic technology preferred
- BLS required
EXPERIENCE
- Three (3) years cardiac testing required
- If no such applicant exists, the Hospital will consider an applicant as a Trainee who possesses a minimum of six (6) months of Medical experience as a healthcare worker in a clinical setting as determined by the Director.
- Five (5) years of experience in non-invasive cardiac testing preferred
