Work Schedule: Days and Evenings with Call Weekend and Holiday Rotation
Hours: primary - 7-3p, 8-4p, 9-5p, 10-6p secondary 12p-8p, 3p-11p, 4p-12a on call, weekends and holiday rotation, will rotate to xray and CT. will rotate to off-site locations.
Summary:
Operates MRI imaging equipment to produce images of professional quality for interpretation. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation as appropriate to the ages of the patients served, based on the area of clinical practice. All MR positions are considered multimodality, and will perform EKG's. All positions will rotate within other modalities as needed.
Position may include multisite rotations, and on-call coverage responsibilities.
Mount St. Mary's Hospital consists of multiple locations and associate may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training required
- Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology required
- Current NYS License in Radiologic Technology required
- Current ARRT Certification in MRI required
- Current NYS Intravenous contrast administration certificate required
- Current NYS Driver's License required
- BLS required
- Completion of "Basic Cardiac Rhythms for Technicians" course required within 3 months of hire
- Employees who float to other departments must possess the competencies/certifications and minimum requirements of that job classification.
EXPERIENCE- One (1) year experience in MRI preferred
- Grade 13Z-On the job training provided based on current ARRT MRI Certification
- EKG/ECG training may be done on the job
