Summary:
The Site Staff Educator is responsible for implementing and evaluating educational programming for the site to which assigned, based on curriculum provided by corporate education. This position is responsible for implementing and evaluating education required by site nursing leadership. The incumbent acts as a clinical resource person relative to theory and practice of patient care management.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• Current New York State R.N. License
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Masters Preferred
• BLS
• ACLS within one year

EXPERIENCE

• Three (3) years clinical experience
• Teaching experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Travel between facilities required, occasional weekend and evening work
• Work in climate controlled, well lit working environment
