Hours: Days with weekends as needed for payroll.

Summary:

The staffing supervisor is responsible for oversight of the staffing coordinators in the Patient Care Services department. They must collaborate with department managers/supervisors as it relates to all staffing, scheduling and payroll needs. Accurate management of corrective actions and associated documentation is necessary. Supervisor processes reports, as requested, for schedules, attendance, and absenteeism management. Contacts respective leaders and managers with data and suggestions for improvement of staffing, scheduling efficiencies and improving attendance outcomes. This position serves as the department lead representative to ensure correct processes are being followed.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• Associate Degree required

EXPERIENCE

• Three (3) years office experience
• Management experience strongly preferred
• Previous experience in Payroll processing and staff scheduling a plus
• Previous Kronos experience a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Must be able to work independently and make sound judgments in high stress situations
• Ability to achieve timeframes
• Ability to enter schedules accurately
• Knowledge of staffing principles in healthcare facility
• Knowledge of staffing grids
• Knowledge of Kronos time system
