Summary:
Provides high-level administrative support for Hospital Administration Team (i.e. President, Chief Nursing Officer, Vice President of Medical Affairs, Vice President of Mission Integration and System Director of Financial Services Operations).To work collaboratively with other members of the department and external customers to proactively address organizational needs. To communicate with high-level management. Requires considerable knowledge and independent judgment with regard to hospital and departmental regulations, policies and procedures, as well as an extensive understanding of special operational programs and activities. Coordinates and attends meetings as requested and provides a written record of the proceedings. Coordinates special projects as requested. Audits and approves time and attendance daily on the system for PCS Department. Assists Nurse Managers and Directors in bi-weekly scheduling and day to day staffing operations.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- A.A.S. Degree or graduate of secretarial/business administration program required.
EXPERIENCE- Previous office experience preferred.
- Previous payroll processing and staffing preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY- Must obtain Notary within three to six months.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio), Microsoft Outlook, MS Publisher and internet research.
