Hours: M-F 8:30am - 4:30pm
Summary:
Within the context of the Interdisciplinary Team, the Center Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight in the center, quality of services, facilitating the efforts of the Interdisciplinary Team, and coordination of the day center operations including staff oversight. Promotes and maintains the psychosocial health of participants through MSW assessments, teaching and counseling. Continually identifies and promotes interventions that will result in the optimal level of independent functioning for each participant.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION: - Master's degree in Social Work required
EXPERIENCE:- Minimum of three (3) years social work experience in a health care setting or related setting.
- Minimum two (2) years leadership/management experience preferred as evidenced by effective communication skills, conflict mediation skills, ability to develop and articulate vision for program of care, effective resource procurement and allocation, ability to mentor others, and ability to coordinate activities of others.
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish speaking) preferred
- Case Management or Managed Care experience preferred.
- Related experience in home care, long term care, or PACE with proven success in strategic planning, budget/fiscal oversight, and operations preferred.
- One (1) year of experience required working with a frail or elderly population and must demonstrate their competence to perform their functions.
