Summary:
Provides professional assessments, case management and intervention to students and families experiencing social and emotional stress in the school setting. Provide group and individual counseling to students.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- Master Level Certified Social Worker with experience in group and individual counseling required
- LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) or LCSW (Licensed Certified Social Worker) Required
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in group and individual counseling required
- Three years minimum social work experience required - Preferably in a school setting
KNOWLEDGE,SKILL AND ABILITY
- Must possess extensive knowledge of community resources, good case management skills
- Ability to perform social work and case management services
- Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
- School-Based Health Clinic, serving students in elementary grades, provides services to high risk students
