Hours: Rotate 6:00am-2:00pm and 7:00am-5:00pm
Summary:
The scheduler is responsible for maintaining continuity, and insuring clinical staff have the appropriate workload/schedule. The scheduler is responsible for receiving and scheduling new referrals and visits basing decisions on multiple factors including patient acuity, diagnosis and skills required. Audits and approves time and attendance on both the Scheduling and Time and Attendance Systems for the direct patient care teams. Assists Managers and Directors in biweekly scheduling, onboarding, and with day to day staff scheduling operations. Handles calls from patients assessing urgency for clinical intervention. This position greatly influences the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE- Three (3) years office experience
- Previous experience in Payroll processing and staff scheduling preferred
- Previous Kronos experience preferred
- Previous scheduling experience preferred
- Previous experience in the Health Care Field preferred
