Salary: 24.00-36.00 USD

Summary:

Contributes to the ASC of WNY's mission and values by treating patients, visitors and staff with a friendly, helpful demeanor both in person and over the phone. Operates independently as well as cooperatively; maintains professional and effective working relationships with teammates; vendors and physicians.Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure quality and timely patient care. Possesses expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique and combines the knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, surgical procedures, and implementation tools and technologies to facilitate a physician's performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures. Under direct supervision of the RN circulator, the surgical technologist may assist with delegated circulator tasks.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• High School diploma
• Finished Operating Room Technician Program
• Certification through a CAAHEP or ABHES preferred

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in an operating room preferred
