The HR Specialist, Total Rewards is responsible for the delivery of quality service to all of its HR customers based upon their acquired knowledge of HR, Benefits, Compensation and Leave Management policies, as well as CH standard operating procedures. The HR Specialist, Total Rewards will be responsible for independently assessing, researching and responding to issues, questions, processing transactions in Lawson, investigating and resolving all levels of discrepancies related to HR, Compensation, Benefits and Leave related programs, policies and regulatory requirements. The HR Specialist, Total Rewards will know and understand CH benefits and absence plans.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or other related field required
EXPERIENCE- Three (3) years of HR, Benefits or Compensation related experience required; prior experience in Service Center delivery role a plus
- PHR, CEBS and/or CCP preferred
- Lawson experience strongly preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY- Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access software applications
- Multi-Systems knowledge and experience - Lawson, AS400, Access databases and/or Position Manager
- High degree of savvy around the definition of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Demonstrated success in Services Center team operating in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, policies, programs and union contract language /application
- Demonstrated customer service related competencies
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Strong problem identification and problem solving skills; emotional intelligence, strategic, tactical, collaborative, participative, investigatory, listening, service partner, coach, shared governance experience
