Summary:

The Nurse Residency Program is part of the Clinical Education Department and supports new graduate nurses hired into specialized areas through Catholic Heath. The Nurse Residency Clinical Education Program Administrative Coordinator will work directly with the Assistant Director and Clinical Education Services. The Nurse Residency Program Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing direct administrative support to the Clinical Education Department and for the nurse residency program, including the scheduling and coordination of meetings, managing time sheets, supporting the residency program service line, coordinating resident nurse orientation requirements, tracking program outcomes, and assisting in organizing program accreditation and compliance. Maintains confidential interaction with departments and professionals inside and outside of the organization.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

  • Associate Degree required

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of three (3) years of Administrative Assistant experience in a professional office setting preferred
  • Background in Healthcare a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Typing 65 words per minute
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to organize/prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Proficiency with Computer programs including (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment (copiers, printers, laptops, projection equipment, Smart board)
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory residency program requirements
