Work Schedule: Evenings Days with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Hours:

12:00pm-8:00pm

Summary:

Coordinates the daily tasks of service workers while performing all duties of a service worker.

Performs a variety of heavy services and project cleaning tasks to maintain the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. Operates various types of cleaning equipment, cleans using step based cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• High School diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1-year experience as a service worker required.
• Prior Environmental Service experience and/or experience working in a health care facility and/or using janitorial equipment desirable.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• Must have a thorough knowledge of all procedures performed by Environmental Service workers, must posses knowledge of operation and maintenance of all equipment.
• Must have sufficient reading ability to read safety instructions and chemical product labels.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• May be required to travel to all off-sites as needed.
