Summary:

The Vice President, Marketing and Public Relations is responsible for planning, development, implementation and management of a comprehensive and integrated marketing and communications program designed to support and communicate the strategic priorities of the organization both internally and externally.
  • Strengthen the Catholic Health (CH) brand, Trinity Medical brand awareness and support Catholic Medical Partners (CMP).
  • Develop and deploy an annual integrated, data driven marketing plan, inclusive of digital presence, CRM, advertising, public and media relations, content development, social media, and internal and external communications. Planning includes developing comprehensive, detailed strategic marketing campaigns with measurable results, to drive share and patient volume in support of employed and network physicians, service lines, business units, and additional stand-alone programs and services, as well as the development of the detailed annual departmental budget.
  • Oversee alignment of the brand and marketing plans with the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of the organization, as well as development and oversight of brand standards throughout the physical and online presence.

This position has oversight of Marketing, Public/Media Relations, Creative Services, Corporate and Internal Communications, Digital Marketing, and Digital Operations, including management of all organization web sites and Intranet Content, as well as support community outreach.

This leader provides crisis management counsel and support to CH executive leadership and as needed, CMP, and works collaboratively with the physician enterprise/liaison team.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of ten (10) years progressive leadership experience in Marketing required; preferably within a healthcare setting
  • Three (3+) years experience in public/media relations and corporate communications strongly preferred

  • Understanding of the nuances of physician politics and program/service line development across a complex integrated health care system
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Interest in how new media technologies can be utilized
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with diverse audiences
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets
  • Ability to manage marketing and communications agencies and ability to manage within budget constraints
