Summary:

The OR Materials Manager is responsible for inventory management including stock and non-stock order, acceptance restocking, procurement of special supplies and equipment. The position requires the ability to provide analyses of supply utilization and cost, with direct responsibility in assisting with budget preparation and justification. Work collaboratively with co-workers and members of other departments to ensure accurate charges related to implants and supplies used in surgery.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION:

• High School Graduate
• Graduate of an approved school of surgical technology.

EXPERIENCE:

• Two (2) to four (4) years' operating room experience to include knowledge of surgical procedures
• One (1) Year experience in medical purchasing/materials management/surgical environment is preferred.
• Graduate from a Surgical Technology program and/or Clinical training is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Computer literate, knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
