The Business Advisor will work directly with the Director of Financial Services to provide an aligned streamlined approach to financial analysis, advisement and overall support for the business operations of Catholic Health. The team of Financial Directors and Business Advisors will work together to assist the business leaders with financial decisions regarding budgets, profitability of services, financial impact of additions or deletions of services, educating managers on financial tools, providing accountability for managers use of financial tools, and leading the effort in labor efficiency and supplies initiatives. The Business Advisor will assist the business with completion of budgets and variance reporting throughout the fiscal year. The position will work collaboratively with the Corporate Finance team in providing sound financial reporting. Responsibilities will include Service line, Business Unit and Acute Care services within Catholic Health.
Bachelors Degree Required
Three (3) years of Financial experience required
Five (5) years of Financial experience preferred
Operational experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Strong knowledge of financial management
Strong computer skills (excel, word, PowerPoint, Access etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
