Summary:


The position of Recruiter, Home and Community Based Care (HCBC) is responsible for management of all requisition, workforce planning, recruitment, candidate selection, and offer execution for positions in HCBC including all internal and external placement. It is the role of the Recruiter to ensure the hiring manager has the right information to make the best selection decision possible in selecting a candidate to hire. Additionally, the Recruiter is responsible for assisting the Catholic Health (CH) recruitment team in developing recruitment brand awareness and getting the recruitment marketing message out regarding career opportunities at CH by networking, attending professional organizations and job fairs. Process improvement and sharing of best practices and strategies for recruitment effectiveness is also a responsibility of the Recruiter.

Responsibilities:


EDUCATION
  • BS in Human Resources, Business, Nursing, or related field required
  • PHR certification a plus

EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of five (5) - eight (8) years of relevant work experience in Human Resources, Employment, Nursing or related field
  • A minimum of one (1) - three (3) years recruitment work experience, preferably in a healthcare environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • Excellent knowledge of NYS and Federal employment law and regulations
  • Solid PC skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint software applications
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs
