Summary:
The Donning & Doffing Assistant has an integral role, ensuring the safety of all members of the health team entering a red zone to care for patients. This role ensures safe use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). They work to ensure that every RED ZONE staff member is prepared for patient care that protects both the health care staff as well as prevent cross contamination and follows Infection Practices outline for patient care in a RED ZONE area.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
ENVIRONMENT
- Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs
- Occasional exposure to one or more mildly unpleasant physical conditions
