Summary:
The Screener is responsible for all assigned screening processes required to successfully screen all visitors and/or patients entering the hospital.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required
EXPERIENCE
- No medical training required, however some experience in healthcare field a plus
- Customer service experience highly desired
- Commitment to social distancing
- Previous experience in a social setting where communicating with visitors/patients/associates/customers was an essential part of your daily routine
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITY
- Basic clinical assessment skills such as vital in order to make a basic assessment of a person's medical situation based upon the defined screening process
- Strong tactical, collaborative, participative, and, listening skills
- Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of computer based programs/computer literate
- Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to multi-task
