Provides integration support between the main Hospital Information System(s) (HIS) and its associated clinical and financial systems such as CHS Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy, etc. including integration between the ancillary systems. Designs and implements model interfaces using vendor technical specifications. Develops custom interfaces and modifies model interfaces to provide technical integrated solutions for the company's business needs, best practices and regulatory compliance. Maintains accurate, complete integration documentation for data flows, connectivity specifications, routing, filtering, data manipulation, problem resolution, root cause analysis and change control to ensure that programs function normally. Communicates with vendors, project managers, CHS business associates and other members of the integration team to create optimum software. Mentors subordinate staff to ensure standards are being followed, technical skills are being developed and their professional goals are achieved.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering. 2 years' related experience as a Computer Systems/Test Analyst, Test Engineer, Technical Lead or related IT occupation. Experience is required and must include the following: Developing interfaces for multi-hospital healthcare production live environment by utilizing integration engines predominant in the healthcare industry such as EGate, Siemens OpenLink, Cerner Open Engine, or Infor Cloverleaf; Developing interfaces specifically in the healthcare industry to support a variety of workflows including patient intake, clinical, financial, administrative & insurance while utilizing electronic data interchange (EDI) formats such as HL7, X12 & XML for included interface development of ADTS, orders, order status updates, add-on orders, and results and charges, handling requirements gathering and ability to produce high quality specifications and designs by proactively eliciting, documenting and managing requirements for interface development; and Orchestrating software quality assurance in order to verify and detect defects through testing with a wide application portfolio using industry standard tools such as QTP, Rosettanet, Winrunner, or Selenium.
