Hours: Days with weekend and holiday rotation. Primary Shifts: 6a-2p, 7a-3p, 8a-4p, 9a-5p and 11a-7p Secondary Shifts: 3p-11p and 11p-7a
Summary:Under the general direction of the Director, Operations MSMH, the Screener is responsible for all assigned screening processes required to successfully screen all associates, visitors and/or patients entering the hospital and admissions to Clearview.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION:- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred.
EXPERIENCE- No medical training required, however some experience in healthcare is a plus
- In-person, interactive customer service experience required
- Commitment to social distancing and adherence to protocols
- Previous experience in a social setting where communicating with visitors/patients/associates/customers was an essential part of daily routine
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITY- Basic clinical assessment skills such as vital signs in order to make a basic assessment of a person's medical situation based upon the defined screening process
- Strong tactical, collaborative, participative, and, listening skills
- Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of computer based programs/computer literate
- Ability to stand consistently for extended periods of time
- Ability to multi-task
WORKING CONDITIONS: ENVIRONMENT:- Work is performed in general lobby type setting
