Hours: 10am-6pm
Summary:
Primary responsibilities are to act as the liaison between the Laboratory Department and any customer having a relationship with the Catholic Health System Department of Laboratory Services and providing high quality Customer Service.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- High School diploma or GED
- Associates degree preferred
EXPERIENCE- Two (2) years in laboratory setting preferred or customer service field preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY- Possess excellent communication skills - written, oral, and interpersonal
- Clear understanding of medical terminology
- Working knowledge of LIS/HIS and PC-based such as MS Word and Excel preferred
- Customer service skills as demonstrated in current or previous job experience, documented training/in-services
- Ability to handle multiple complex issues under pressure without demonstrating any sign of frustration or disorganization
- Have the initiative and ability to demonstrate ultimate concern for the customers, anticipating their needs and going beyond their expected levels of service
- Demonstrated telephone etiquette techniques
