Work Schedule: Days and Evenings with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Hours: 6:30 am - 11:00 pm variable shifts weekdays/weekends/holidays

Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, Northtowns and supervision of the Clinical Pharmacists, and according to New York State law, performs technical and professional activities associated with dispensing pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• Enrolled in an accredited college of Pharmacy.
• Registered as an intern in New York State or registration pending.

EXPERIENCE

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to use the following equipment: laminar flow hood, biological hood, compounding devices, telephone, fax machine, hospital computer systems, copy machine, prescription balance, automated dispensing machines.
