Work Schedule: Days

Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm

Summary:

The 340B Program Analyst will assist with 340B Program related duties for Sisters of Charity Hospital, Catholic Health Infusion Pharmacy and Mount St. Mary's Hospital. The role audits and monitors all software systems and EDI feeds to ensure they are functioning properly. The role regularly audits contract pharmacy arrangements, assists with reportingon savings opportunities, and all areas of program compliance. Reviews monthly 340B cost savings report with 340B Program Business Manager. Helps 340B Program Business Manager ensure the program meets all primary objectives such as compliance, maximum participation, and efficiency of 340B related processes, including participation in self, independent or government audits. Provides oversight and assurance that qualifications for program are both met and maintained through regular audit and monitoring tasks.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION
  • BA or BS in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
  • Associates degree combined with specific experience with the 340B program

EXPERIENCE
  • Experience and skill with spreadsheets and other applications
  • Experience with 340B program and/or pharmacy contracting and/or retail pharmacy preferred
  • Experience in health care setting

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • Extensive understanding of 340B program, Pharmaceuticals and Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs
  • Working knowledge of inpatient and outpatient pharmacy practices, policies & procedures
  • Ability to develop, maintain and analyze data sets
  • Self-motivator with the ability to follow through on assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to meet project deadlines and adhere to reporting procedures and requirements
  • Extensive use of Excel including Pivot Tables, V Look up and Macros
  • Ability to use Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral and written comprehension and expression
  • Able to work cooperatively with Hospital, Administration and Pharmacy staff, in order to meet departmental objectives
  • Ability to multitask, and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule
  • Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles of service excellence
  • Good analytical, and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Comfort in working in a matrix environment
  • Ability to work independently

WORKING CONDITIONS
