Hours: Daytime hours with occasional early morning early evening meetings with member practices
Summary:
The Physician Relations Specialist (PRS) will be responsible for assisting the Supervisor Physician Relations Coordinator with managing practice facing projects and assisting with communication with the CMP member practices. The Physician Relations Specialist (PRS) will work with both internal and external stakeholders including the Clinical Transformation Team, the CMP member practices and others within CMP in the development and implementation of effective projects. The PRS will work closely with payer data and provide analysis of data to practices for appropriate follow up as it relates to gaps in care.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- Bachelor's Degree required
- Masters Preferred
EXPERIENCE- One (1) to three (3) years project coordination/management experience required; in lieu of experience, Masters acceptable
- One (1) to three (3) years healthcare experience strongly preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY- Knowledge of how to assist with the successful implementation and management of a new project
- Strong organizational skills imperative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding and utilization of current information technology systems designed to support care management, as well as track and trend results
- Project and time management skills with focus on accurate timeline and milestone objectives
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and knowledge of flow charting to optimize operational reliability
- Strong PC based software programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, Micro Strategy) skills required
