Job Description

Shift: Shift 1

Status: Full Time FTE: 1.000000

Bargaining Unit: ACE Associates

Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: No

Work Schedule: Days

Hours: M-F, typically 8-5 schedule. May require rare weekend work.

Summary:

Provides Learning Management System (LMS) support to the Manager, Instructional Design and Online Learning. Functions in this role include coordinating the implementation of online educational learnings, implementing processes to increase the efficiency of product delivery to end-users of the LMS, extracting data and completing data analysis reviews, reaching out to stakeholders to gather required data and content to maintain system integrity, updating and publishing educational content, providing Tier III technical support, acting as a liaison, and completing other projects/assignments as directed by the Manager, Instructional Design and Online Learning.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION
  • High School diploma or GED plus required
  • AA/AS degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting an education department
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Familiar with medical terminology
  • Familiarity with learning management systems as evidenced by being able to run reports, create classes/courses, and respond to user support

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) software applications, Outlook, and an online Learning Management System
  • Ability to use/become proficient with the CH Learning Management System
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills to provide Tier III technical support for the LMS
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to organize/prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment (fax, copier, printer)
  • Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines with patience and flexibility
  • Demonstrates strong ability to maintain and deal with confidential data and issues
  • Good judgment and diplomacy in being able to relate to all organizational levels
  • Ability to independently prepare reports, minutes and correspondence
  • Able to drive to various Catholic Health locations / valid driver's license

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Extensive time sitting and typing
