The Talent Acquisition Advisor will partner with business leaders to align talent acquisition activities to the overall strategic business goals of the organization. S/he will assist in the development of recruitment strategies to improve the acquisition of key talent and enhance the overall candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Advisor will provide quality customer service, sourcing,interviewing, screening, focused selection methodologies through our community outreach for assigned areas, for positions up to and including managerial level, executing activities to deliver on specific talent acquisition strategies. The Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for the management of the job requisition, workforce planning, recruitment, interviewing and screening to help in candidate selection and offer execution for positions in the assigned functional areas. The Talent Acquisition Advisor will ensure the hiring manager has the right information to make the best selection decision possible in selecting a candidate to hire. Additionally, s/he will serve as an ambassador of the organization and point of contact for talent pipelines. The Talent Acquisition Advisor will work closely with the Manager, Talent Acquisition and Branding to develop recruitment brand awareness and communicate career opportunities at CH by networking and regularly attending professional organizations and job fairs, including after-hours events. It is expected that the Talent Acquisition Advisor will spend at least 30% of their time on-site at CHS facilities to interact with hiring leaders throughout the planning and execution of recruitment assignments. Process improvement and sharing of best practices and strategies for Talent Acquisition are also the responsibility of the Talent Acquisition Advisor.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Nursing, or related field required
- PHR certification a plus
EXPERIENCE- Five (5) - eight (8) years of relevant work experience in Recruitment, Applicant Sourcing, Human Resources, or related field, preferably in a healthcare environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY- Excellent knowledge of NYS and Federal employment law and regulations
- Solid PC skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint software applications
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Strong track record of building effective relationships to successfully partner with HR colleagues, internal clients and outside vendors to achieve desired business results
- Demonstrated ability to use technology, data and analytics to effectively influence action and drive business results
