A Nursing Assistant provides care for clients and patients in a variety of settings under the direction of a nurse. They often assist patients with their personal care needs and play a vital role at the hospital. Care includes greeting newly arrived patients, answering patient call lights to determine the needs of the patient, assisting with meals and tracking intake/output, reporting observations of patient behavior, concerns or physical symptoms to the Registered Nurse.
