Work Schedule: Evenings with Weekend and Holiday Rotation
Hours:
1pm-9pm, 2pm-10pm, or 3pm-11pm (start times may vary)
Summary:
Primary responsibility is the registration, processing, and distribution of laboratory specimens.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- High school graduate
- Previous work experience in processing specimens and/or computers preferred
- Successful completion of Clinical Phlebotomy rotation and/or six (6) months experience in phlebotomy which includes microcollection and butterfly collection on both geriatric and neonate/pediatric patients preferred

- Able to obtain information and interpret this information in terms of the patient's and/or specimen needs
- Able to work safely with infectious and/or hazardous materials
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; occasional exposure to one or more mildly unpleasant physical conditions
- Must be willing to participate in on-call, weekend rotation, holiday rotation, and multiple shift scheduling as needed
VACCINE REQUIREMENTS
- Effective January 1st 2022, you must be fully vaccinated with an FDA COVID-19 vaccination and provide proof of your vaccination status as part of your new employee pre-boarding. Exceptions to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement may be granted for medical reasons.
