Summary:

The Manager Imaging, Clerical, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound Services is the operations manager of the CT and MRI departments at Mercy Hospital, which includes all Mercy offsite radiology facilities.As a member of the management team, the Manager participates in the planning, development, implementation, coordination and operation of all Mercy Clerical, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound Services. The Manager is accountable to the Director of Imaging Services with close cooperation with the Chairman of Imaging.

Major tasks include, but are not limited to, three major functions: Managerial, Clinical and Mission. The Manager Imaging, Clerical, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound Services is responsible to ensure adherence to department and hospital policy at all Mercy Hospital sites.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• Successful completion of formal training in an approved school of Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasonography
• Associates degree required
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Registered through ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB

EXPERIENCE

• Five (5) years of clinical experience as an imaging technologist
• Previous managerial or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in at least one radiologic specialty

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

• Must maintain current licensure by the New York State Department of Health and by the ARRT
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Strong negotiation skills
