Hours: 7:00am to 3:00pm & 8:00am to 4:00pm
Summary:
Responsible for the delivery of the surgical patient through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation as appropriate to the ages of patients served. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, quality improvement programs, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Maintains confidentiality of all hospital/staff information. Strives to incorporate the Hospital's goal of Quality care, in a personal manner with total regard for individual human dignity.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
- Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
- RN licensure in New York State
- Must possess current BLS within sixty (60) days from time of placement and must have current
- ACLS within twelve (12) months from time of placement.
EXPERIENCE- Two (2) years of recent Medical/Surgical experience as a Registered Nurse or one (1) year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a Hospital CCU/ICU, Intraoperative Services, Endoscopy Department, PACU (Recovery Room), Outpatient/Ambulatory Care Unit and/or Emergency Room
